Your badge looks fine to me but compare it(eagle-wreath) to other known examples on this forum(osang para), the unuasual thing I see is the pin looks soldered backwards, and the flatwire clip looks really wide, the stamp looks fine ,but we need a real closeup on it,Iam new to the paras and would look at other known examples,Its a very nice looking badge.

Hi Willi!
This badge has no features I ever saw on an original textbook osang para badge.
Different eagle (beak and claws for example), different wreath and maker mark.......
100% sure the case is good (and an early one), but the bagde?
You wrote, that it' s not made from zinc! As far as I know there is not one tombak Osang para badge proofed to be original until today (but there are some very nice tombak Osang fakes out there).
Beside this, it looks more like a late war Juncker (or near by) from the front and back, but not like a textbook Osang.
A "Juncker" with an Osang hing system, made from tombak and (IMHO) faked Osang maker mark???
Would say: not for my collection!Last edited by Niedersachsen; 11-01-2004, 12:46 PM.

Hi Willi
I will agree with Gerd. I do not own an Osang (yet ) but this does not match any of the originals I at least have on file.
Gerd started a thread in the qualification badges forum sometime ago about Fj badges and some nice Osangs can be found there for comparison.
Just my two drachmas
All the best

2. Here a compare "Willi´s badge" ./. original Junckers from my collection
Close from the front view, but with some different features on the wreath (11h position)...
So, Willi´s badge is not from Osang!Last edited by Niedersachsen; 11-01-2004, 10:43 AM.

Hi Willi,
I would agree with Gerd that your badge does not look anything like a Osang para. It looks more like a tombak Juncker on the front with a late war style hinge and catch setup.
The mark is also very funky looking. Most Osang marks do not stand out as dramatically as yours.
Here is a nice Osang I got recently from Yuri.
