Ah, REAL collectors collect items and photos, as well as other things!!!

We'll talk about that eagle another day though.....

So, if we see them on an extremely small fraction of smocks, can't we expect to encounter them on pants too? Knowing that many more smocks have survived as compared to trousers?

I know, the pictures of the pocket flap ar far from ideal, but doesn't it seem like this flap is equally 'oversized' in regards to the examples shown in this thread?

I believe this flap is completly restored as you can see where the male snaps
        were initially ....

Don't worry, I won't tell it to anybody. Your secret is safe with me!

          Very good point Willi!

Interesting to see that all smocks shown with these snaps are of the Sumpfmuster pattern... This would mean that the trousers are of a late war production (what seems to be backed up by the poor quality materials that were used).
Does anyone know if the smocks that are shown below are dated? This might help us determine a better timeframe (1944? 1945?)

These snaps is also seen batches of jump smocks from Brandenburg Kleiderfabrik´s 1944 August to Oktober 44 sumpf pattern smocks.

But they are only the same as on Radek´s FJ pants, as Mike´s pants is the kind you find on many latewar bandoliers.

These two breast eagles are the right type normally found on these batches Brandenburg smocks.(Same eagle pattern which were messed up in the design, when they went from the blue backing to the tan backing). Best Jan

also i have seen and/or owned several original (sumpf) smocks with these types of snaps (which were original pressed into the smock).
So "only Prym" is not longer valid. (and also logic to be explained, as Willy already stated, as these are also seen in for example the fj-bando's).

              best
