            haha, I like the Brummies ! was working down there in the summer for a week, near Spitfire roundabout is it ?, not far from the old Spitfire factory, now Jaguar of course, they guys were a scream !!

            Did you see benefit street this week, I didn't, heard about it, that was in Brum wasn't it ?

              Yep that's right Spitfire Island right by the Jag,they reckon there's a stash of Spits buried somewhere round that area,I think its a pipe dream myself.

                Yes of course, Spitfire Island, I remember now, found a couple of pics on my phone taken on way back to hotel, I was quite emotional looking at it to be honest late at night after a few orange juices, not much of a monument physically, but mentally quite thought provoking, we were on the brink, staring into the abyss, I cant comprehend what failure would have felt like...
