    Interesting Stickpin

I received this in the mail last week from a woman whose husband was with 2./Fsch.Jg.Batl."Brandenburg". She say he and some other guys from the unit gave them to their girlfriends (including her) during the war. I don't recall seeing anything like it.

What do you think? Something that could have been done by the unit, or simply a souvenir from Brandenburger Tor? Nicely made and is certainly old.

    Thanks

i've seen one before - but on the blood order ribbon, as a mini.

don't know anything about it - but i believe more in the story you've posted as in the blood order story.

not really a big help - but hopfully a small one christian

      Eric,

I have the same stickpin.I've never read anything about it but, just thought it a souvinier from the Brandenburg gate.Like you would get from say the Statue of Liberty.Would be nice to find out it's something more than that.

            Greg,

Isn't that supposed to depict the Feldherrnhalle in Munich apropos the B-Tor?

I know that a few "Brandenburg" units had unofficial pins, mostly worn on their field caps. The Brandenburg gate pin could be such a unofficial iem.
