Everything. It's a very poor fake : Shell, liner, bolts, straps, paint ............everything.

I don't agree. These are rather poor fakes. The dangerous fakes are the Cezch ones that appeared back in the 90's. The Cezch fakes were, by design, meant to fool collectors.

Fakes that we now see the most of (as above) are very cheaply made fakes that shouldn't fool anyone. They cost less than $100. They are made for reenactors and were not intended to fool collectors. What was inevitable is that they would be aged and introduced onto the market, which is what has happened. We see them often because so many collectors want something for nothing, and most fakes find a home. No one touches these at shows, but the internet has provided the ideal market, with sales being based on photos alone.
