I have some questions. I would be very pleased if someone have the answers

Did this man fight in Holland? and Russia?

Is usual that this fj was with FJR1 and later with FJR4?

Could someone explain the meaning of the flugbuch? I know the six jumps to get the abzeichen für fallchirmschützen but I don´t understand the meaning of every column

Nice grouping! I can't help with the Flugbuch question.

The Narvik document is a tough one to find. Nice score! It is possible (and rather likely) he fought in Russia. The date of the Erdkampf document being Sept of '42 would be tough to earn at that point without service in Russia after Kreta.

Yes, it was common for members of FJR1 to later serve in FJR4, after FJR2 was pulled out of the division and FJR4 was created. I would have to check but I suspect members of FJR1 served as cadre to form FJR4.

A very nice document grouping!

The entries in the Flugbuch relate to each individual flight in a Junkers Ju 52 which enabled the qualification jumps to earn the Fallchirmschützenabzeichen.

The entires include: date, type of aircraft, aircraft code, place of take off, time of take off, place of landing, time of landing, duration etc. The Flugbuch is a very nice component of this document grouping.

Interesting to see the flight times listed are from 4 to 8 mintues.

My question is why would this award grouping be linked to that Flugbuch, since there would have been other FJs on the same flights?
