    Hello!

Sorry for delay, but have some computer hardware problems at the moment

The Stocko snaps were on a splinter camo bandoleer which was for sale on US eBay some days ago.

Will send some additional pics from the complete banodleer, when I'm able to.

Gerd, did you win it? If the bandoleer is the one I already looked at I am 99% sure it is authentic. Would like to hold it I have a splinter bandoleer dated 1943 that I purchased in the late 1960s or early 70s for $15, this price because the seller thought it was a repro.. Yes, they were reproing them then. The seller thought repro because the snaps were poorly applied. Mid to late war (small size) snaps can look pretty goofy sometimes, especially those found on bandoleers.

      Best,
      John

Gerd didn't get it, but another forum member did. He said that he'd post photos of it once he receives it. Here is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT. Not $15, but still a very good price for this piece today.

Jack is right, I didn't get it (what a good price indeed), because I can't go online with my pc at home

However there will be another one in future........

Gerd, I have one like it that I'd like to swap for a latewar brown. If you have one, we can do some trading.

Though Willi answered the question of these snaps much earlier, Francis asked that I post his fine bandoleer here as yet another example. Here it is, a mint 1943 splinter.

WHY!? My pc "told" me, "no Gerd I´ll not work any longer for you"! And that happens exact at the end of this auction. B******t

Congrats Michael, sure the bandoleer has a good new home
