I agree......a very common late-war bandoleer in rough condition.
In mint condition it would bring around $350-400 now.

Willi and John, does this pair look legit. I took them in as a partial trade on a helmet. They have the same markings as the others.

              Hi Jack,

Just got in, had to work late. You bet, it's good! Perhaps we should do a bandoleer thread.
              Best,

I think a bandoleer thread would be good. I'd really like to see some early blue ones and some odd ones, as well as the standard versions.

A great opportunity to post some bandoleers as suggested. If someone has some of the extremely early ones it would be nice to see some. I don't have any super early ones yet.

First is a photo of 3 early blue ones..........two styles of square flapped pockets and a round one too. You see the square flapped ones commonly worn during Holland and Kreta.

Next are 3 styles of late ones. The normal and common '44 dated ones with 2 sizes of snaps. The one in the middle is very unique. John H was with me when this one truned up........came directly from a US veteran in Georgia and still has WWII vintage German ammo in strippers in the pockets. The snaps are rusted shut so I can only squeeze them out on the sides to inspect.

Next are a few splinter camo variations. All dated from between 1941 and 1943.

Who has some super early ones????
