Here's another one,Frank !
You can't go wrong with these Junckers.
I've also noticed that the left arm of the swastika is a little smaller than the others,check it out !
This one has a name scratched in it says:Schauland.
Badge looks a bit flashy,but that's the flashlight,without it was too dark.
$ 200.- is a good bargain !!
Horrido,

Hi again Frank,
Sorry, have been away, knew that Jos would help you out.
I've never seen other makers with talons clipped but since the early badges were more hand finished I guess it's possible. It probably never happened on an Assmann though because of the tiny talons; such a different design. I'll post my early Assmann too. Here is the reverse of my Juncker, you can make out the leaning 'L' and the reverse 'z' s.
Congrats. on the addition.
Regards,

Junker FJB?
I thought I'd resurrect this thread rather than post a seperate thread. I picked this up yesterday for £30. Yeah, I know. I initially thought it was a copy, but when I'd had a good look, I thought otherwise. It appears to be an early tombac Junker. The pin has long gone, and the hook appears to have been repaired. But try as I might to junk (sorry, pun intended) the beastie, I couldn't. I think it's a pukka item.
But what say the panel? It's heavy, vaulted, and looks the business, barrel hinge, etc. But for £30 (it was in amongst Brit cap badges), I thought I'd take a punt. Lucky git, or muppet? You be the judge.
