M38 CAMO - thoughts?

It is a $75 fake.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but could I offer you some advice? You appear to be way too eager to find what others spend years doing; buying original camo FJ helmets. This is the 4th crappy fake helmet you have posted in the last few days. There have been 100s of original FJ helmets posted on the forum. And there is an entire thread of eBay fake crap above. If I may say so, take a few hours and do some studying on the forum and you will ultimately save yourself some time and energy.

that is very good adivice and I am going to study the original helmets that are in here! Also ate there any good book that you recommend getting that study the m38 para helmets? Please accept my apologies for my eagerness and incompetence! Thanks,

No need to apologize Patrick, we are here to help. There are numerous discussion threads, both in here and in the helmet section, with original FJ helmets. Check out the search function and you could spend hours viewing them. There are usually original helmets offered for sale on the E-stand as well. In fact, there is a tan FJ camo on there right now, though the decal area has been touched up. There have been a number of good helmet and FJ books which have FJ helmets in them, but no single book just on FJ helmets.

I just think you are looking in the wrong places right now.

Sorry this reply is a little late, however I was offered this by and eBay seller about a month ago and I posted it on here, it's an awful fake, he wanted about £3500 for it!!
