M38 , your opinions please

I was offered this helmet M38, I find it interesting, but I want your opinion, because the jugular seem of a different era from the rest.

the LW eagle,the bolts looks new,and the chin strap i do not like

It looks okay to me,but the shell looks to be cleaned somehow,maybe it has been overpainted and the paint been stripped,liner and straps looks okay,but has been treated,just my opinion.

[M35]

M38

Early liner, late straps, paint has been cleaned or rubbed, decal questionable or de-nazified at least, bolts look funny. Overall, a messed with helmet and not very desireable except for parts possibly.

Yellow rubber pad.
Shell look cleaned and oiled,maybe it was rusty at one time.

looks like it has a late war rim, so could be a late war M38......

I definitely do not like the bolts, this lid has been post war tampered one way or the other yet a better photo would definitely help..

maybe its put together with diferent components bolts almost look like BGS......

need better photos...

Those bolts look bad. Otherwise there isn't much else to say, that hasn't already been said.
