Thanks to you all for your quick answers. I had the same opinion as you but my domain of collection is different (document and badges). I go informed my friend. Concerning this copy, can you bring more precision ? Is it about one of these Czech replica ? Cordial greetings.

I think a couple of matters need to be considered:-

1. The shape of the shell. The 'pregnant tortise' shape, ie high dome, sharp sides, is classic of sub-continent works;
2. The liner has been 'aged' by the expedient of applying shoe polish. Add same to new leather and look at the result;
3. The straps.New leather, thin and incorrect in shape.

There are other give away points, but your question warranted some degree of explanation above an icon.
