Picture album - price normal?

Yesterday sold on ebay:

(official) Fotoalbum der Ausbildungskompanie des
1. Fallschirmjäger Ersatz und Ausbildungs Regiment 1 - containing 28 pictures.

sold for a staggering 800 US$ (650 Euro)
Is this album so rare and is this price to be considered as "normal"?

I know that something is worth what a ... is willing to pay for it; ... but 800 US$

It must have had some "sexy" photos, but otherwise that is a very high price. Unfortunately many today just care if an album had one or two nice portraits with a few smock photos, while to others it is the story of an important piece of someone's life.
