My latest group fjr1 and fj lehr battalion afrika

I would show a little of this group i have recently purchased .The paratrooper
served in 7.FJR1,6.FJR1 and after the battles in Greece joined 2.Lehr battalion XI Fleigerkorps in Oct 41.XI Fleigerkorps served in North Afrika.
The group came with a AFRIKAKORPS cufftitle and the armband AFRIKA award doc.
I think this is quiet a rare group as FJ Lehr Battalion stuff is not easy to find.
Question, does anyone recognise the office who signed his promotion?
    Thanks for looking

I checked several references, but could not find the names of any of the officers in the Lehr Battalion of the 11th Fliegerkorps. It might be quite the challenge to identify the 2nd Kompanie commander.

      Great grouping BTW!

But the signing is not from Kiebitz ...

              It is from Obl. Kurth

no one said it, I was answering to Willi FYI. No doubt that it was not Kiebitz, no idea anyway that he was Kurth.

                      Nice grouping thank you sharing.
Your scans do not show a wound for Crete so I assume he was lucky enough to escape the massacre at Heraklion airfield on the 20.05.1941.
                      Regards
