Hi,

I`ve got this badge recently, and I like it much. Looks to me as a rarer, early Juncker piece, the catch was replaced, looks like period done.

Excuse the bad pics, I have actually only my iPhone for use.

The weight is 40 gr.

I think so, too. It was never cleaned, has a nice patina. And it looks much better in hand as on the pics.

These early badges are sooo much nicer than the late zink types. Even when repaired it still has a great appearance and a definate higher value than zink types.

I would rate "Deumer" any day ahead of "Juncker". The early, thin "Deumer" is one of the rarest FJ badges that there is. Althought a thin 1st model "Juncker" is very hard to find. If we also include later badges then "JFS" is probably the rarest of them all.

Junckers are top quality and are viewed as the "Rolls Royce" brand to have. Deumer however, made better badges.
