The only pictures I have ever seen of SS-Sturmbannführer Herbert Gilhofer are found on pages 24 and 25 of Rüdiger W.A. Franz's book, Kampfauftrag: Bewährung - Das SS-Fallschirmjäger-Bataillon 500/600, ISBN 978-3932381577.

I am sorry but I don't have a scanner with which to copy Gilhofer's picture. Perhaps someone else in the forum has Rüdiger W.A. Franz's book, Kampfauftrag: Bewährung - Das SS-Fallschirmjäger-Bataillon 500/600, and can make a copy of pages 24 and 25. Unfortunately, I cannot.
