Hi All,
Was at a show last week and a buddy sowed me a bandolier he had picked up in trade. I am not really up on this and he even less so. I have had the normal K-98 bandoliers over my collecting life but these were different and I think were FG42. These had four pockets on each side double snaps. They were RB numbered and dated 1944, I can't remember if maker marked. It was in water pattern. In the center of the yoke around the neck was a loop with a bakelite button. What I found interesting was what appeared to be reinforcements two smallish strips of Luftwaffe blue cloth 2" x 4" on the inside of each shoulder area. I am going to tray to get pictures and more info, but I assume like everything else, these are reproduced?
Cheers
Bill
