Nice lba stug pants by cg

If we consider this pants to be textbook in his construction as stug pants (
inside belt , ankles , flap pockets ,....) and late war dated , what do we have to think about the other pants considered by some as "late war para pants "and
by others as LW stug pants ?

You mean for instance this thread ?

      http://70.87.163.50/forums/showthrea...hlight=lw+stug

      Well, it seems :

      1) Some trousers have pure FJ construction, and a large majority think they were used only (or at least mainly) by FJ truppen untill the end of the conflict.

      2) Some trousers look like simplified FJ trousers, or appears as close variants, with differences in details of construction compare to trousers of 1).
For those "hybrid" trousers, some collectors believe they could have been used by LW stug crews, althought others think they were used by FJ truppen, and a third category think they could have been used by both FJ truppen and LW stug crews.

      3) Some LW stamped trousers look to have absolute identical manufacturing and caracteritics with standart Heer stug trousers, like those shown here.
IF those last are original, then logicaly they were made for a LW (feld-div, LW andFJ stug bgde or HG div) stug (or armored vehicle) crews use.

I suspect these were to be worn with the M43 HG tunics in field grey.

maybe this particular "mixt" was encountered in this division.
but IF those trousers are original, the wear with a classical regular issue feldgrau wrapper, having appropriate applied LW insignias on it, sounds logical to me too.

Of course, is logical, but the FG M43 as well.

For me these are pure StuG trousers but with LW marking, as derka has mentioned.

Late war trousers worn by HG personnel with either the Luft assault gun wrap or the HG M43 tunic. Just like Luft Feldgrau single button M43 caps.
