Collaboration between FJR Rgt 22 and British ??

Hi further research to his soldbuch that I posted previously I am finding accounts where FJ rgt 22 was rearmed by the British and used as an anti partisan force against maurauding Russian and Polish freed workers arround Hartenholm.
    http://www.akens.org/akens/texte/info/32/71.html
and from Der Freiwillige of the year 1994

also very fancyfull (B.S.)accounts in Whiting of 22 used to flush out SS troops in Segeberger woods.
Is there further sources to look at / has this been dismissed??

I recall reading of FJ troops at the end of the war who were tasked with flushing out a cadre of stubborn SS troops in the forests or hills who refused to surrender. It's been a while, though, and I've forgotten where I read that. If I run across that source I'll post it here.

      very interesting thread

I´ve heard that story, too and it somehow always had a dubious touch to me. It was very interesting to read the real story. I´m always amazed to read the topics that the WAF members bring up- it is unbelievable how much expertise is gathered in all the forums. You can´t buy any book that equals the collective knowledge of this site. If you take 90% of our German `Experts´ like Guido Knopp on this field it sums up to boring crap with 50% flaws. The Fallschirmjäger forum is truly one of the very vivid and entertaining corners of the forum. I just wanted to give my admiration to your proficiency.
