Hi to all,
As follow of the thread

I'ld like to ask your opinions about these FJ chinstraps.
It's seems important to say :
- I paid 25 euros, then of course the seller didn't want to deceive me ;
- they are obviously worn ( see the leather near the grommets ) and old
- the grommets an and male snaps are magnetic
- the male snaps are unmarked and female snaps are marked "O(???)NS SCHAEFFER" . Schaeffer GMBH was specialist of rivet and snaps during WWII and had some problem afterworking with the nazi. Its RZM was M9/188 for the tinnnies. This firm is now owned by PRYM.

- there is a field repair ( a cap of the snap is missing and the person wished replace it in the leather ). I think it's a repair during operation : at peace time, the sodier at the barracks ask an other snap, another chinstrap, ... and doesn't walk with something like that. I think also a faker 'ld use more common and known snaps maker ( PRYM, Stocko, ... )
