Just wanted to see the word " copy" in writing. However, my European friends used the "F-word", so I needn't have bothered

SMP, Maus, clint-magnum, John Hodgin, what on earth brings you to the opinion that it could be a fake?? And clint-magnum: not every ebd44-plug is a fake as I noticed that you jump on these.

This is an original late war heavy canvas bag with PRYM buttons, a ZIPP zipper and a ebd plug which is not the soft and rubbered one known from fakes.

It has the right material, the right end straps, the right look and feel, the right manufacture and wear signs - it is a good original one made before 1945 and shouldn´t be talked to a bad one which it is not.

But I guess this thread has already done this.

What on earth brings them to believe it is a fake?? How about experience, and the study of original bags??

An original FJ gas mask bag does not need the blessing of this forum to quickly sell. Originals speak for themselves. This one is such an obvious fake. Sorry.

It's just like many known fakes.

Sorry if you find it hard to believe. Perhaps you can return it from the person who sold it to you. Where exactly did you buy it ?

@clint-magnum: when you look at this gasmask bag in thread and take mine, these two have nothing to do with each other. Everything is different, even the material, the sewing, the buttons, the zipper - everything. You can´t take this as reference.

But too late, the offer was removed. And it won´t be sold here anymore.

As Willi Zahn said - the originals don´t need the blessing from this forum.
