Fake i guess...(some stitching seams "new")

Yes, it is a fake. Many of the letters are not consistent with those known to be original. Original hand embroidered examples are flawless.

And also, it is a hand embroidered fake of a post war veterans band. The letters of the veteran band were copied, which are not like WWII period lettering, thus making it easy to spot.
