opinion on the origin of these Fj photos

I picked these up recently the seller was of the opinion they were taken on Kreta
the nationality of the other officers look to be Bulgarian ?. many thanks for any assistance.

I would say this is return journey from Kreta somewhere in the Balkans.

I would said that these photos were taken in Bulgaria.

The officers are Bulgarian indeed, the location may be in Northern Greece, too.
