FJ Award entries

Thanks for the input Erich. . I think award entries without stamps are always suspect but I feel pretty comfortable with these awards. The same Kp. Chef signature is on page 3 as well so this would have to be a fake entry as well if you are correct. If you were faking the awards it would be much easier to leave page 3 alone. After all he was already listed as being in the FJ Pi Btl 1. Why write it again? For a faker it adds nothing except possible exposure. The awards are pretty common and really wouldn't have added much value to the soldbuch in my opinion. To go to that much trouble why not at least make an IC1? I have some FJ Pi docs and the KvK and IC2 seem pretty standard. Based on the date of the awards it is my opinion that the individual soldier/command just wanted it updated before the wars end. As always I value all opinions!

As noted the awards which do not have stamps are always a reason for concern however I also have a number of Soldbucher with late war entries which are not stamped.

In my opinion the entries look fine.

Or after the war ended in a POW camp as his rank was updated after the 8th May 1945 on page 3. Nothing to worry about these entries.

I don't have a problem with the late awards. I know for example from a soldier of the Hitler Youth Division
which was captured in August 1944 by the British and his Award documents were made in February and March 1945 !
