my new late war FJ helmet

Hi to all,

I'ld like to show you my new M38 FJ. It's a late war CKL. Unfortunatelly, 3 alu bolts and the straps are left but the liner and his black rubber are still there and very nice. Never cleared. I bought this one last week with a flare pistol LP42, an english pouch and 30 cartridges for MG42 for ... 200 euros The seller didn't know of course this helmet without bird ... My chance for the bargain of the year. It comes from Mons area, in Belgium, where FJ ( also SS and WH ) fought against US troops on 2nd and 3rd september 1944. Without doubts, one of the last lost in the country and not yet in a collection. I'm very glad with this local helmet.

If somebody have originals straps, I'm interested.

I obtained my late-war FJ helmet about 15 years ago for $35, under the same type circumstances: in the absence of a "Nazi" decal on it to identify it as a WWII German helmet, the seller had no idea what it was.
