    Help needed with Fallschirmjager Waffenfarbe

Hi, I hope you can help me. I'm fairly new to the complex world of Luftwaffe waffenfarbe. Would specialist troops in a Fallschirmjager unit have waffenfarbe in yellow or in the colour of their specialism? For example, would signal troops have golden brown collar patches and shoulder board piping? One theory that I've seen would be collar patches in yellow and shoulder boards in brown (apparently this system was used in the field divisions). My primary interest is the waffenfarbe used by Kriegsberichters attached to parachute units in the early war period. Did they use signals waffenbfarbe? Any help greatfully received!

I think that troops which were added wore their own colors, but all units raised by FJ had yellow ..

    Here're some examples of Fsch-Jg-Pi-Btl 4.Kompanie, normally Pioniere should've black ..

    Jos.

That's something I always wondered, didn't the FJ have arty units? didn't these arty have red Waffenfarbe?

I think that they counted as paratroopers in the first place (= yellow branch colour) and specialists in second hand. But it´s not always easy. I have seen an uniform with three branch colours (yes, it was original!): pink for panzer, golden yellow for reccon and blue for doctors. Tunic and cap that was.

But how could they combine the three colours? one on tabs, other on boards but where the third?

You have seen a pink waffenfarbe on a LW tunic?

Paul, Panzer troops in HG Pz Division wore pink piped Schulterklappen on their LW tunics from 2 April 1943.
