FJ helmet camo - any chance ?

hi, beautifull, in good conditions a beautifull helmet with early liner

I love the small liner and the thick natural rubber pads in a helmet, it gives it a real 'chunky' look to it. I dont recall seeing such bright yellow pads before, I think this one must have been stored quite well (or just lucky) for 60+ years!

Looking at his serial number (3997) it was made in 1938, so it was (probably) DD but now I don't see traces of national decal beneath paint.

I think it was in Regimentals 6 or 9 months ago but with very bad photos (I have remembered these thick white-tan padding). I enclose additional liner photo in natural light.

Hi Rob,
I tried to make better camo photos. All photos were made using flash - so color looks unnaturally (but without flesh all photos were too dark)
