Dear All,
I think the thread is going from strength to strength, I am surprised that it still hasn't been pinned yet, but I suppose there is still time
Having exhausted my previous stock of photos, my new ones are eventually arriving in dribs and drabs, so I will be able to post some more.
As I have been away for a while, there have been some really great photos posted to keep the thread going. My thanks for sharing your photos and names where possible. As I can appreciate that at times many photos are never scribed and at times it is hard to actually id that "forgotten hero".Regards
Si

Chuck,
Thanks! Studio portraits are one of my favorites as well. I will be posting them as the thread goes on..and on...and on!! Great isn't it...historically that is..nothing like photographic history on what the FJ's went through and the images of what they looked like during this time in history. I receive you scans and will post the photos you sent on this thread. Again thanks for contributing and sharing with all of us. Bill
John,
I really like that FJ with MP40 pouches and egg grenades attached also like that schwimmwagon thanks for contributing and sharing on this thread as well.
Simon,
Welcome back to the thread. I know you will continue to share your photos as they come in and it's much appreciated. Yes it is important to list names and information on the pics whenever possible...sometime you never know when someone will recognize the photos when posted. I had several forum members contact me on photos they had in their collections.
Here are a few photos the Chuck has sent. One of which I have in my collection..FJ eating out of a German Field ration Box.Attached Files

I guess the image in #608 was part of a series similar to others that were sold at the PX. Bill, I sent you a couple of studio images to share with you all. I'm going on a much needed vacation for a couple of weeks and when I return, I'll join as an associate member. Until then...

Dear all:
Although it has been posted yet, thought it could be interesting for this great thread. Niklaus Hölscher, a brave Fj from Fallsch. Lehr Batl and Rgt. engaged in Gran Sasso and France, who lived in Spain.

Hi Oscar,
I have seen the link before, but for those that haven't great photos and a great story to read.
Bill great portaits there.
Here's a little one to be getting along with FJ escorting Brits in captivity Kreta. Unless I missed it most Brits seem jolly, whilst there doesn't appear {in shot anyway} any weapons!!Attached FilesRegards
