Hello, yes an early badge. No pin on the back. Ive pulled two Para badges out of the woodwork in my years of collecting and both were missing the pins. A wild guess, these Paras refused to give them up and were yanked off. The reverse of this one has ink writing on the back of the eagle and a faint date that I cant make out. Best. Bill
