    Meindl Badge in Wear

    Hey all,

I was looking for photos of this elusive badge in wear on M-43 caps. I tried a search, but I'm either finding shots of Meindl, shots of the badge, but not the badge on caps.

Do any of you have easily accessible photos in your archive that you might be able to throw on here?

    Thanks in advance,

    J-

Here's a very poor shot of Schimpf wearing his Meindl badge. I am sure others can post better ones.

Thank you! I agree, that's a severe angle. I have that picture as well, although I can't tell if that's a Schimpf badge (which I'm assuming it is) or a Meindl badge.

Hopefully somebody has a nice, clear side shot where you can clearly discern the badge and pin placement on the cap itself.

It's definitely a Meindl badge. Clearer photos exist in some of the reference books.

Good work Bill! That was the one I was thinking of, but I couldn't remember where I saw it.

                          Funny

But seriously they are zeltbahns but folded a special way. Very very cool look.
