Sorting out some stuff in my boxes , i came across these 3 pairs of FJ grey gloves .
These came from a safe source more than 30 years ago .
i have them forgotten in my boxes for that long ...
3 different sizes picked up in the 10 pairs packs found at that time and often discussed , dismissed sometimes ...
They are real and were found in an Attic in the south of the Czech Republic where a lot of LW logistic was stocked during the war . Not a postwar production .
Captured in May 45 as so many Logistic depots were plundered by the population .
After the war he modified more of them to be sold on the civilian market .
These were part of the left overs , unmodified and still stocked .
Many of them at that time ...
RBNr gives a manufacturer in Esslingen , close to Stuttgart .
Repro of them were made later of course but these ones are original !

My gray pairs. Both obtained in NJ from US veterans, and when they were in the Ardennes.

The rabbit fur liner pair have the RBNr in black ink, and the size in white. The unlined pair have both the RBNr and size in purple ink.

          Hi,

Yes certainly a civilian fantasy . Your pairs are originals for sure.

Must not be automaticly civilian - I know a pair of para pants that have a sewn-in ironfold.

Also, offz. gloves show the 3 lines, too.

I have a brown pair with the same markings.

These types of markings seem the most common, especially from those found in Europe. Who is the maker? I only have on 1940-dated pair with the full maker.

It has been a while since we have discussed fake gloves. I will have the check my files for photos, unless someone can find the discussion threads.
