What sort of militariajunk you can find from crete and in what prices? Im going to go there at the end of this month, and that would be interestking to know plages to go and things to find beforehand. I apologize my bad language, cause english isn´t my firs language.

I never went to Kreta even hoping or looking for items. It is not like other battlefields. I went there strictly for the history and scenery.

You'r absolutely right. Medals and stuff are hold by local collectors. There is nothing genuine u can buy in Crete. Even in the rest of Greece almost everything sold by dealers is crap (the majority). You can visit the German cemetary where all the fallen paratroopers rest. And the café close to it. They have parts from airplanes (Ju 52s) and some more stuff found in the surroundings.Comment

went as a Us Marine. Our ship pulled in and the locals hated us. I did make it out to a airstrip to shoot weapons at the time . I didn't realize how important the oppourtunity I had.Comment
