I have a question concerning the Kurt Student signatures on the 'ARMELBAND KRETA' Urkunden.
Am I correct in thinking that it was the first or initial batches of Urkunden that were ink signed by Student, and the rest were subsequently issued with printed Student signatures?
I know that on the thicker paper/card citations, sometimes (although not always) printed signatures can be harder to detect, especially if it is a 'small' signature.
I have seen a 16-August-1943 dated example and it is listed as an ink signature however, my question is, by this time was he really signing these urkunden in ink when there were more pressing issues elsewhere?
Any help will be very well received.
Regards Richard.
