FJR 2 Cufftitle real or not?

    Dear all,

I might be interested in buying this cufftitle. However I don't know much about these, so therefore I would like to ask for your opinions.
Is it the real deal or fake? What would be the value of this cufftitle if it is indeed genuine?

    Thanks,
    Bio

      John,

Thank you for your answer. Could you perhaps elaborate a little bit more and teach me why this cufftitle is postwar?

      Thank you again,
      best regard,

No WWII Fj cuff band had lettering like exhibited on yours. If you do a search here, you can see many threads illustrating authentic bands, and some post war bands like yours, with excellent information about them all.

Thank you guys. In that case I won't buy it.

Also thanks for the examples of real ones.

            Best regards,
            Dennis

A large number of these fakes (Regiment 1 as well) came out in the mid 90's. Since originals never had paper tags you can encounter these with the tags removed as well. The incorrect "J" is an important clue as well.
