It's a bit more than that : Bad paint, bad decal, bad liner, bad straps.
Have I missed anything ? What do we think about the shell and bolts ?

hehe, :P even if i missed everything else. For some reason, in this learning process of spotting a fake from the real deal, the straps seem to stick out more to me then any other detail on fj helms

The ET stamp does look a bit odd doesn't it? If everything is bad, there's a good chance the bolts are too. Wouldn't you agree Steve?

The decal is 100% bad. I am pretty confident that the shell is bad as well.

                    FJ helmet

I think I need to clear things up here. I bought this helmet from a guy who said it was found in a vets garage. Being a collector Of SS related items I am in no way a FJ helmet expert, I mean this damn thing even had blood splatterd on it, it looked fine to me. I sold it to Bruce, and told him that it was fresh from out of the woods as I was told. He posted it, and now we find it to be bad. This was an honest mistake, and no one intended to take advantage of anyone. I know that you people on the FJ forum probably dont know who I am , but people that do know me know I do not deal in fakes. The helmet is being sent back, and will be returned to the person who sold it to me. That is the deal
