    Which FJ unit involved in Gardelegen?

    I accessed this page from Die Kneipe and was going over the list when I read about the atrocity at Gardelegen. It is listed under "Germany".

    Does anyone have any idea of which FJ unit may have been involved in the inicident?

    Alright so probably not the most popular thread but if anyone has any info or know where it might be looked up I am very interested. Thanks Chris

      I think we discussed this in the past, and could not clearly ID the unit involved. Could have been a training/replacement unit. I recently saw a "After the Battle" magazine that was dedicated to this event.

        Thanks Willi, I tried conducting a search, but for whatever reason I couldn't. I know in once of my US divisional histories it has a pretty lengthy account of Gardelegen, the battle for the area and the findings. I will check in it and see if any intelligience info was included.
