Willi, I believe he is wearing a fieldgray one-button m43. Also note his shoes; I don't see any laces, so perhaps they are they cut-off boots?

His trousers are indeed interesting! Unless he was in the armoured branche of the HG, this is one of those typical ('early') late-war uniform combinations.
