Thaks Edgar- either those smocks are hand-camoed, or "Narvik"-caption is wrong, as this modell (camo M40 step-in) was not used there. At least this is what we know so far - maybee the 1st proof they where used in 1940 at Narvik?

And they are not hand camo'ed, they are clearly Luftwaffe Splinter pattern.

          Hi everyone,
Thanks for sharing this photo. To the best of my knowledge, the caption is wrong = not the real thing = not accurate.
Some of the captions, writings, on the reverse of the photos must be seen/taken into account with caution... The caption is not the proof. I know at least one case of a FJ who wrote "KRETA" on the reverse of some photos obviously made after Kreta.
The first and third photo of this group which has just been sold in Ebay does belong to Narvik...
          Best regards. Óscar

I agree with Óscar. I decided to sell it as I got it, together. The caption is surely wrong....sadly. It sometime happens. Probably the memory of the "writer" was not sharp enough.
