Unknown pair of boots.

Hello fellow collectors,

I recently purchased a pair of odd brown boots with a buckle on them,they gave me a wartime feeling when I saw them,but I can't seem to find any info on them. They look German made,but could also be Canadian,I have no clue whatsoever. I really need some help on this. Thx in advance!!!
