I just looked in the new book about the Eben-Emael attack "DER STILLE ANGRIFF", and I think that I may be finally found my guys. The helmet is named 2 times, first name is engraved "LAKSUS" and the second on is wrote on the liner "BROSE". There is a very nice portrait picture in the book with a FJ wearing exactly the same camo helmet, not to tick.

ERWIN LASKUS (born in 1913 and was in the Sturmabteilung 430)

BODO BROSE (born in 1916 and was in the Sturmabteilung 28)

I still need to find more infos to be 100% sure but I think that's a very good start.

If someone can help me to find more details, it will be great.

Thanks for the flowers for our book "Der Stille Angriff":-)
                Yes, you are right:
Erwin Laskus and Bodo Brose, both were members of SA Koch.
BROSE came from the 1./Fallschirm-Jäger-Rgt. 1 (number 18.) - a very early paratrooper. But he was not in action on 10. Mai and became his EK I in 1944 by Pi-Btl. 3.
LASKUS came to the SA-Koch from the Pi-Btl. 40 and was born in OSTPREUßEN. He suvive the war.
                best regards
                Thomas

Thanks all for your comments, i am very Happy with these informations, i got this Helmet 3 years ago in a old German collection, i always had in mind that this Helmet could have been a Eben-Emael helmet, but without any prooves it was impossible to say. I already did some researches but without concret results. When i took a look at this new book, i Have been Happy to find these 2 names in this book. Thomas, this is a great book may be the best about the subject, and with a lot of unknow pictures, with a lot of differente style of Fj chuncky camo helmets, it is now clear that there were several kind of heavy camo.

Amazing, Mathieu! Just another wonderful addition to a superb collection. Textured camos are my favorite. Plus, the added history of the names truly makes this helmet a marvel.

                                Well done!
