6,5 CM x 6,5CM which isn't that seldom. Marked with Leonar. It doesn't mean anything only that it is wartime paper. I don't think there is something wrong with them, late-war photos, in my opinion. Thanks for the input already John, Wallonien etc..Last edited by HouweTrouwe; 05-19-2009, 03:06 PM.

Seemed strange that one soldier appears to wear no shoulder straps, while several wear ribbon bars, but no other awards. The poses are unusual too. Never meant to imply there is anything wrong, just strange or unusual.

Cool photos. They could be any branch of Luftwaffe troops posing while performing security duty along the rail line. A rather common and mundane duty.
My father as a pilot in Italy performed anti-partisan security duty when not flying, and at night. He said it sucked!
These guys don't look like infantry types.....Willi

They are zoomed it, I've done it so you guys could see better details. Indeed one only has shoulderboards, the other not thought they are wearing ribbon bars. Also none are wearing collar tabs. I also see pocket lights, MP40/44 ammo pouches and a MP40.
The boots like Jump boots (?) don't think they are Schnurschuhe, could be wrong thought.
