Fallschirmjager cloth patch - Opinions please

Gentlemen, Would you be so kind to give me an opinion concerning the FJ cloth patch shown here? The patch is soiled with some frey at the eagle's wing tip. The reverse has black cloth backing material with moth nips at outer edges. Is this patch genuine? If so what would be a fair price for estand? I do not know what the round bullion LW patch is but it also has moth nips. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Harry C

Original cloth jump badge and advanced sailplane pilot badge. The design of the sailplane badge is the same design awarded worldwide today.

                  Yes Harry,

Only a sailplane is able to GAIN altitude through lift from clouds or wind from mountain ridges. A glider is usually released from a tow plane and only looses altitude. Gliders are flown down, as the assault gliders used by paras. A sailplane could be released at 4K feet and fly up without the aid of an engine. I used to fly them, Gran Sasso's father still does.
