    I love Panorama Maker...

Today I did this with this fantastic program for editing photos. The image is made up of 5 photos taken this morning. This is what a German Paratrooper saw in 1944: on the left the Abbey; in the middle Hangman Hill and, on background, city of Cassino and to the right and behind the city, Mount Trocchio

I agree; it is indeed a great photo. I was there in October and took in that very same panoramic view.

This foto brings back memories - thanks, Marco!

Now - as we know you - what about a "then"-view simular to this one?

Perfect to add to the Casino thread from a few weeks back, because right now, Jan 12th, Mount Trocchio is key in the approach to the Gustav Line.
Wonderful photo Marco! Wish I was there now.

Oh Yes, next time I go I take photos for panoramas

But, AMAZING, I descover the software work also with frames captured from VHS or DVD...these are some example: any photos is a mix of more frames captured from video:

The area called "Le Caserme" or, in english, "The Barracks", immediatly outside the city on east. "The Barracks" still exist today and is an abandoned Italian Army Depot (not in use today).
