Very nice looking original, used zinc example. Looks like
it still has a fair amount of gold finish remaining on the eagle.
The top dog guys turn their noses up at these zincers, in
favor of the early war, tombac types. That said however,
these zinc types are getting hard to find. I don't mind
collecting them at all. I think their rather nice in their own way.
Valus for even these zinc type of Paras' have risen of late.
$300. seems to be the norm. I would figure $250. would be
a bargain. Originals are getting hard to locate in my area.
So many fake paras.floating around these days.
Frank and Eric. Those are great looking badges you guys have.
I believe that all B&NL Para's have zinc wreaths, but the eagles can be either Tombac or zinc. Frank shows a tombac eagle which IMO would be higher priced than the zinc eagle variety as shown by Don and Eric.
Does anybody have a B&NL Para with a tombac wreath?
