Ammo box?

Hi,

You know the standart metal MG ammo boxes? Not the round "baskets", but the long square boxes with two handles on the short side and one handle ontop.
My question - I saw such, described as made of aluminum and thus for FJ. Is there really such a thing?

Aluminum is early manufacture, not Fj.

Often attributed to Fallschirmjäger because they're lightweight, John is correct in pointing out that these were just early cans. I'm looking for such a can with original paint if you know of any (PM me if you do)
