Hello Edwin,
Very sorry, I guess it is best to always be serious here. There are details missing that are a bad indication. Will try and post some photos tomorrow explaining what is missing and why, but would still like others to give some input before then.
There have been several of these "surfacing" lately. All are faded and without eagles. So I ask you, why no unissued examples have appeared like the ones made from twill, and with their eagles intact? And, where are the stitching holes from the removed eagle on yours?

There was never a eagle on this smock....no traces at all.
I bought this one from Weitze....so I quessed it would be a good one.
But I'm never to funned about those HTB smocks...so I love to have more opinions

To begin to discuss the problems with this one: The button holes are not sewn correctly. Like I said, some photos to help you tomorrow.
Again, sorry,

Hbt,
Original period Luftwaffe Feld Division smocks weren’t fabricated out of HBT, only in smooth cotton, these reproductions are from the same breed as the well known reproduction Heer “sniper” smocks in HBT. Splinter camo Feld Division smocks where made out of HBT and smooth cotton. These sumpf HBT Luftwaffe feld division smocks are usually being offered/sold as reproduction on every Dutch and Belgium show. Indeed lots of crap available on shows but regularly visiting them is good for the development of your own knowledge.
