    FJ EK2 field award document

    Hi

What do you think of this FJ EK1 field award document from Brest?

IMO the signature seems to be Tollkien, he was the 12th CO commander.

    Regards
    Ben

    Hello,
Ben , you know what i think of this one...IMO fake (from Le grand J)
    - If it's Tolkien who has signed,Tolkien wasn't Hauptmann
-Few document had "Festung brest" written (and the few are only signed by Ramcke)
-EKI are not signed by Coy commander, but higher rank (régiment commander)
-Why this stamp wich have nothing to do with second FJD???

          Hi Ben and Herlé,
I also have some concerns about this document. I agree that "Festung Brest" is extremely odd. I had a field-made EK document signed by Ramcke and it only mentioned that it was signed and awarded in Brest. It still had the unit stamp.
