Can someone please tell me. When theres a debate or somone disagrees with a certain dealer there threads are erased. I went to make a comment in Prosper Keatings favour with regareds to his debate with Jamie Cross and was told the thread was closed. I thought that was what this site was all about learning through debate. regards Jamie McGann

News Flash: this is NOT a Shouting Club.
Anybody who has something to say on a subject, be it badge, politics, or whatever, is perfectly free to do so, in the correct Forum. You are perfectly free to start your own calm and reasonable thread on whatever your point was, Jamie. Calm and reasonable would be nice-- for a change. ( <--- significant "hint," Usual Suspects...)
But please don't complain about not being able to prolong "dead horse" threads that have long since ceased to serve any purpose. That makes me cranky, and I'm not a fun person when I'm cranky.
OK, to be more accurate, I'm even less fun than when I'm not cranky....
Tedious, pointless, pushing-shoving-pouting-whining "he called me a name!" is out, folks. I'd get paid better substitute teaching in junior high school, if that's what I wanted to do here. Frankly, I am personally SICK of it. Any point on any subject can be made calmly without supposedly adult people behaving like 14 year olds.
This is NOT the continuous unending same old catfight website. Keep the personal stuff and all the inflamed egos out of it, or it goes "poof." That's all. Nobody is "shielding" anybody, except from Dead Horse Déja Vu. Got a "problem" with a badge or a Whuzzit? Fine. That does not require insulting strangers' grandmothers or implying that fed up "Day Care" Moderators are somehow "covering up" anything but cutting out ZAV looking for clear factual points.
Content is NEVER censored, and I (being Spotlessly Pure and Divinely Impartial
) get fed up with CONSTANT REPETITION. How many times can the obvious be restated?

Rick if reading certain threads make you cranky, then dont read them. I found the debate between Jamie Cross and Proper Keating interesting, i was also learning from it. And al;so i never heard anyone complainn except you.Comment

PS You're supposed to complain about me in the Kneipe. That's TWO for you Off Topic about Paratrooper Collecting in here, and I don't have any funny images today to emphasize the point that there is nothing personal when I shut anybody off. (Two in two days would be a new record, and I don't want my cousin Prosper to get jealous.)
If it makes you feel any better, I won't shut THIS off. I'm fishing for bribes, and exbooty/Chris cleverly saw that way to my crooked heart on HIS off topic posting.
BTW, What WAS the point you said you wanted to make about Army Parachutist Badges? (In a new thread, please. This one has got nothing to do with collecting....why did I get up this morning? Nobody likes me!)

All parties involved have had a chance to speak (plenty of chance), so we all have agreed to move on. If there is new information, then it'll be welcomed, but right now the threads have taken on a personal nature and offer no benefit to the forum.
