Cuff title opinion

Gents,

The moderator asked me to move my thread here in an attempt to learn some more about the Kreta cuff title. I found this one on a tunic on the net and in an effort to learn more it, can someone who is familiar with these kreta titles teach me whether or not this one would be considered the "textbook" example or another variation, and whether or not it is genuine. From the pictures I have seen of authentic ones the base material looks similar to the original examples but I am not sure what to conclude about the lettering. I am here to learn and will be interested to see what others think.

As I mentioned before if you do a search by using the search function and you will find a number of discussions on a number of Kreta cuff titles. You will find fakes, textbook ones and maybe some variations.

The one you presented has some very sloppy details to the lettering so I am inclined to say it is not an original. It is certainly not a textbook one.
