I have a letter from an Oberfeldwebel from Feldpostnummer L60806 -->FJR16.
He wrote about an Leutnant Katzenwadel (or Katzenmodel?) from Hoheneck who was killed this day (around 11.1.45)

Perhaps someone has informations about this Leutnant? Or could tell my the right name?

FJR16 at that time already was part of the HG Fsch.Pz.Div. I'll have a look at home in the HG Geschichte. What's the name of the OFW, maybe I can give you a FJR16 KP

This is the new FJR16 under FJD6. Fighting southwest of Arnheim.
The Oberfeldwebel is Rudi (I think Rudolf) Ranzinger.
He wrote that he is responsible for the funerals of the killed Paras. Later Nationalsozialistischer Führungsoffizier.
